The total cost of supplying both sun hats and sunscreen works out at approximately £5 per child - please see purchase
details below. Should your school wish to ask parents to facilitate this cost we have written a letter, which you can adapt as required and send home to parents informing them of your school’s intention and asking for a contribution to assist
with the necessary purchase.Please note that if you are sending home this letter with each child, you can also
complete part of step 3 of your 5 step guide by sending home a Skcin booklet with this letter.
Our Legionnaires hats can be ordered in Red, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Bottle Green or Burgundy via our retail partner Your School Uniform.com. They come in one size that will fit pupils from reception through to class 6.The cost of the hats are just £3 each, saving you £1.50 per hat based on the usual retail prices.
Initially you will need to place a bulk order for all the pupils in your school, plus some spares. In the following year, you will only have to budget to provide hats for your new intake.
Our Sunscreen is SPF 50 with broad spectrum UVA protection. It is supplied in 1 litre pump dispensers, for ease of application and transport.
We estimate that the cost is £2 per child per year.
